CoRe Racing Expands the iRacing Division

23-Oct-2009 – CoRe Racing is proud to introduce two new iRacing members into the team: Douglas Lundberg and Blake Brown.

Douglas Lundberg, an 18 year old mechanical engineering student from Ystad, Sweden, has been racing for CoRe in the iRacing arena for two months now. Although Douglas does not have extensive simulation racing experience, he compensates with real life kart racing experience. He is currently running in the Swedish KZ2 (formally known as ICC) Karting Class and was recently given the opportunity to test a Formula Renault for a drive full time. In his short sim-racing career, Douglas has proven himself as one of the fastest iRacing road drivers, matching the pace of some of the best simulation road-racers out there. Douglas’s time with CoRe so far has been exceptional, and with his knowledge of the iRacing simulation, CoRe is also pleased to announce that he will join Nolan Scott as the co-manager of the iRacing division.

Secondly, we have Blake Brown, a 17 year old student from Franksville, Wisconsin. Similar to Douglas, Blake started simulation racing just last year and also has extensive real life experience. Blake has been oval racing since the age of 13, and has raced everything from Legends to Super Late Models. He is currently participating in the ASA Midwest Tour, driving for Terry’s Motorsports. Blake is establishing himself as one of the fastest iRacing oval drivers in the sim with his participation in the iRacing Pro Oval series. CoRe Racing is excited about its iRacing future with both of these bright, upcoming simulation racing stars.

Welcome to the team, guys!
